about

Today, after months of hard work we are so incredibly proud to present to you in full our completed EP "Undiluted Fervour" available for FREE from our Bandcamp. This work is the culmination of so many efforts, setbacks, pracs, rewrites, and demos that we'd need to write a novel to document them. We currently have a couple of shows lined up but we're looking to book in as many as we can - hopefully we'll see you at a show sometime soon!
All of our love to those who've supported us thus far and in particular to our producer Josh Lake for putting in a mammoth effort to record and mix the entirety of this with the only payout being the EP itself. You're a legend man, and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

Feautring our mates Alex McCall, Nick Moriarty and Jordan Cassells on guest vocals for The Pull (Jordan), Clumsy (Alex) and Panic Attack (Nick)

Undiluted Fervour. ❤

Track Name: The Pull
Feel the pull x2
Sublime plains extend throughout - expansive moderation
Crooked streams crack the crust and i'm thrown flat.
Tectonic forces my subjugation.
Feel the pull x2

We germinated in unison
execrable conditions stunted our growth, but
my only contribution was the malnourishment of my peers
(malnourishment of my peers)

Rapacious vines - sincere greed.
Render those seedlings destitute, sunlight deprived.
Feel the pull x2.

A firestorm to cleanse.
You tried to mollify us casualties, rectitude belongs to the invalids.
A cascade of language intended to ruin
Burn us down when it suits you so

Straining their rapacious vines
it's pure urge and they think that they need it
He's just a kid (and they're just kids)
You'll feel the pull of the sun, of tooth through gum
When with a wrench I uproot and toss asunder
Wading through the shallow daze,
the skeleton in the closet
It takes root again - puts faith in that pull.

Rapacious vines - sincere greed.
Render those seedlings destitute, sunlight deprived.
Feel the pull x2.

To all those left behind who feel the pull.
Track Name: Strokes
Awkwardly the strokes fell
Inexperienced attempts to carve you from your shell

Wouldn't it be more commonplace to view - to merely observe
Rather than to influence, sculpt, review?

Dare I venture outward - let my thumb somehow find the paper,
to smudge the details i vehemently laboured to divine?
To blur the form that held us captive.

You’re an image that won't focus,
and ill obsess over the details
until it's fully grown.
And I can step back to present the whole to myself.

Maybe finally there will come clarity.
Maybe finally there will come clarity.

Awkwardly, now my strokes fall.
I’m discerning an aura - crafting a spirit
A rougher, more human representation.
Still clandestine shall my efforts remain.

You’re an image that won’t focus
You’re an image that won’t focus
and ill obsess over the details
until it's fully grown.
And I can step back to present the whole to myself.
Track Name: Clumsy
And so the social bushfire was lit.
And I wouldn't survive but I knew that.
And the opportunity for growth made it worth it.
And I purged myself so others could remain intact.

All these pitiful attempts at insight - ham handed language, clumsy interpretations of rough ideas had by many.
Petrified the masses of men would turn and deem me unworthy.
Yearning to attempt - in spite of this - lest a mindset go forgotten in time.

I've seen my bloom.
Glimpsed that dusky orange future;
I deem myself worthy.
Track Name: Panic Attack
Spittle dangling, expelled from gaping maws.
Urgent panting, stormforce winds feed the conflagration.
Impassive aggressive self-trauma
Idly choked by brambles

Ensnared in the malice
The Panic fills your nostrils
Ensnared in the malice
The Panic fills your nostrils

I need my fucking penance now
Towing my luggage around under my eyes
To their waiting withered mouths
Rapacious blank horrors that they are
Track Name: Clippings
Yet again that itching question remains
How better to prune myself?
To pile clippings high and hope that i'm still fine
To break free, from the mould they cast for me

Each new growth overanalyzed, a vicious cycle
Lend me your hopes, your dreams and fears
I'll cling to the hope that you'll still occasionally reappear
Before it's all gone with a heavy cloud of smoke.

Yet again that itching question remains
How better to prune myself?
To pile clippings high and hope that i'm still fine
To break free form the mould they cast for me
Track Name: Contemptuous Habitat
Crepuscular rays interrupt the moderation of this arid landscape
The gentle tug of warmth, a chance for this flora to flourish
This contemptuous habitat limits only those who allow it
Chisel what you must - discern an image that which you can contemplate

Spring upwards, freestanding.
Straight of spine and trunk.
This contemptuous habitat limits only those who allow it.
Chisel what you must, discern an image that which you can contemplate.
Motivate,
Burst forth and bud with undiluted fervour.
Flourish with undiluted fervour.
Burst forth and bud with undiluted fervour.
